Our 110 year old log home, named the Stott House, was named to commemorate the family that homesteaded the land and built the 110 year old farmhouse. Ida, Jake, and Tom, English immigrants, built the original home from various houses that they pulled, by horse and buggy, to the farm. They built the home, piece by piece, and lived in the home during their lifetime. The Hatfields rebuilt and restored the 110 year old home, using logs, installing hand hewn beams, adding massive porches, and updating the interior, while still keeping the style and the "feel" of the vintage home built over one hundred years ago.
